Our Home Enrichment Program brings together a newly strengthened partnership between, parents, teachers, and the child, as well as those of society.

We provide a life-skill, value-based educational format with a focus on honesty, civility, importance of family, integrity, self-discipline, tolerance and responsibility. Our students are taught to live by such values as promptness and hard work through fairness, a democratic environment, mutual respect, and co-operation.

Today’s teachers live and teach in an era of ‘social equality.’ Their classrooms are filled with students for whom traditional ways of motivating and disciplining no longer work. Today’s students are increasingly unwilling to cooperate with authoritarian teachers, nor are they able to learn successfully in a permissive environment.

The Montage Academy adopts the philosophy of the democratic classroom. It is neither permissive nor autocratic. It emphasizes mutual respect and equality among all class members - including teachers. Through a program of daily training in group dynamics and problem solving, our students experience leadership, community development, and an acceptance of each one’s individuality.
